From the idea through to the completed product line

KonMed supports you in your innovative ideas and specifies, conceives and proposes suitable technical
solutions. Decades of experience, mastery across diverse technologies, and meticulous quality management make it possible to prove feasibility and realise prototypes for preclinical validation. Validated processes and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques enable the production of high-quality, effective, mass-produced products.

Punching

Perforations in various geometries are attached to your instrument.

Tip forming

Tipforming for atraumatic tips and transitions is an important quality feature of catheters.
Great attention is paid to this manufacturing technique, as well as flaring (widening) or the attachment of marker rings in the distal area.

Forming

By deforming hoses, customer-specific shapes can be realized. For example pigtails or spirals in different sizes and geometries.

Injection moulding | Overmoulding

The injection of molded parts (Luer connectors, Y distributors, handles, atraumatic / soft tips, kink protection ...) onto hoses enables high connection strength and tightness.
A large number of thermoplastics are processed (PEEK, PEBAX, TPU, PE...).

Finishing and assembly

The further processing of tubing and moulded parts using production technologies such as assembly, punching, printing, laser engraving, tip forming, thermomoulding and packaging can all be done in clean room facilities.

Printing

Various printing techniques allow scaling, company logo or lot information to be applied
